Someone told me recently that I shouldn't be putting potato peelings on my compost. Anyone know anything about that?

some say no citrus, meat or dairy. some say anything organic, including citrus, meat and dairy! potato peelings are fine.
one reason why not is they can grow especially if you have an eye and a big enough piece.
Even if they have an `eye` they won`t be any good for growing, spuds, only foliage.
