Dyson all floors vacuum
1 Answers
Having noticed some thinning of the pile on an expensive carpet purchased only a short time ago, I have been told by the carpet supplier that my Dyson 'all floors' vacuum cleaning is responsible as the suction is too strong for my carpet. I do find this a little difficult to believe and wonder if anyone else has had this problem, and if it is the case, can anyone recommend a good upright vacuum which would be suitable.
many thanks.

In the first instance the supplier should deal with the problem but he isn't so ask the supplier for the manufacturers name and telephone number as you want to get in touch with them for an inspection from one of their reps. Most quality carpets come with a 5/8 year guarantee. Usually in these circumstances the manufacturer will send out a rep to inspect the carpet. If you get no joy there get the trading standards in and ask them to deal with it. Your carpet is not fit for purpose so should be replaced or you should have a refund. It would be very interesting to see what Mr Dyson had to say on this subject. I have a Dyson All Floors and have had no problem.
