My Drayton 3/RF3 red alarm light is on continuously. I have a suspicion that it has been a bit awry with timings for a while & had a big bill so reset / checked settings. Tok batteries out & put them in in sequence. Have switched heating off at boiler cos I have no confidence in it now the alarm is showing. What can I do?

I have an RF2 - the alarm light relates to the RF unit not the boiler - dmaned if I can find the instructions for it - though.

Thanx woody, I had the instruction sheet but it didn't have the troubleshooting section that is in that hyperlink.
I thought the batteries were OK cos the digital display was still being powered but new batteries have solved the problem, thank goodness, obviously needed more juice to get the signal to the boiler.
I,ve been disappointed with this bit of kit. I'm the only person in the house who can operate it!
Its not easy to alter the temp. for the times selected so that's a pain.
I bought the 7 day RF3 instead of the RF2 cause I wanted dfferent temps on different days but .....you can't do that.
That wasn't even mentioned in the instructions, I had to ring the help line after trying for ages & thinking I was doing something wrong... ho hum, rant over!
