scratched spectacles

Does anyone know how to remove scratches from spectacles?

You cant. They are scratches into the surface, therefore, are permanent.

Next time worth paying extra for protective coating on your lenses.

Are they corrective glasses or reading glasses? If the latter, you can get very good quality pairs in Poundland.

I have used Brasso with success on plastic and glass lenses...... But my glasses are bought off the shelf for reading and are cheap enough to replace. Nevertheless if you have glasses which are scratched you can't loose out on trying the Brasso...........Ron

I understand that Toothpaste is also a good, fine abrasive for polishing things?
