I laid a large area of patio with Indian Sandstone. After a couple of years blackspot began to appear. Now it has spread to almost all the flags. I've used sandstone cleaner, bleach and stone & brick cleaner and got no result. Is there any remedy for this or is it a bacteria embedded.
Please someone help as my patio now looks old and decrepid.

Do any of the remedies that you have tried involve taking off the surface (fractionally) as in scouring or sandblasting? If not I would consider doing just that and after having cleaned it, not too perfectly (give a bit of character!) seal it.
