what is the warmest,lightest,weightless bed covering i can buy as i suffer with nocturnal cramp?

Electric overblanket? Other than that, it's eiderdown, followed by goosedown.

Thinking some more about this...In hospitals, patients sometimes have a bed cover support on the bed that keeps the coverings clear of the body, like this. A hot water bottle will quickly warm up the space under it. You may be able to get one on the NHS. Ask your GP. The only problem with them is that they can restrict you getting in and out of the bed. Hope this helps.

I found a snowgoose down quilt recently it is the lightest softest quilt and I really want it ...but ...but ....but it was �360 so I cant have it .

I have a wool duvet. Incredibly warm & incredibly lightweight.

Along with a lekky blanky on the mattress.

Comfortably snug as a bug in a rug!

Q.V.C. have an outlet called Northern nights, who sell gorgeous down duvets at a very reasonable price. I paid less than �90 for a king size duvet, which is so light, when I throw it up, it floats down slowly, yet it is warmer than any average duvet. Northern Nights also sterilise ALL their feathers, and down products, and NEVER use feathers in their duvets, (only100% down) and they are all washable.

I do not buy any bedding from anywhere else but Northern Nights, as the quality is 2nd to none, but still reasonably priced.
