Can I replace my freestanding cooker with a hob/oven?

When I replaced my kitchen 4 years ago I couldn't afford a built in hob/oven. I would now like to add a hob/oven and get rid of the free standing cooker. The space where the cooker is now is 600mm wide and I have beech worktops. Is this a feasible option?
TIA
