how to get motor oil out of carpet ?

Oooops!!

Try swarfiga.... Great for getting motor oil etc off of hand and jeans so it will probably work on the carpet too. Best try a small hidden area first to check the colour fastness of the carpet, them wash the carpet with a suitable cleaner. If you have already tried washing the oil out you may have a problem as the stain will have set.

 

Next time you have engine oil about in doors, make sure tha carpet etc is suitably protected first!
