Our freezer conked out whilst we were on holiday and all the food went off quite dramatically. The freezer has now been repaired but the smell is still very strong. We have used the usual bicarb and vinegar preparations to try and get rid of this but it still lingers. Anyone any ideas how to rid us of this pong?

Thanks.

This worked for us... place as many trays or shallow pans of used coffee grounds placed in the defrosted (and empty) freezer as you can... A neighbor says that fresh coffee grounds worked for him as well...
try wilkos etc they have products for this
