The flowers on my Fucshia plants have very successfully bloomed and some have died off now. However, I'm left with the seed pod (fruit) which have swollen in a round shape and turned red. They look exactly like cherries. A friend said to me that you can actually eat these but of course I would like to know if this is the case? I've never grown trailing Fucshia plants before and thus don't know the answer!

I've just tried them and they are really quite a nice taste, juicy and grape-like but not quite as sweet as cherries. Let's hope I'm still here tomorrow!
