Are wallflowers annuals or can they be left in the garden for a second year?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Wallflowers are sown the winter, transplantedinto nurserie beds, and then into their flowering positions in the fall, and will bloom the next year. They are best pulled up then, but will make much poorer specimens if left in for a further year. The good thing is they will grow anywhere there`s a bit of soil. I have success with dry-stone walls.
