since we went on to the new style 'bulbs' for our lights etc, my lamps seem to give a cold light, but when i look in other peoples homes, when passing! some people seem to have a nice yellow/golden glow. what are they using that i don't know about. thanks.

I've noitched that....the light is very "harsh" in those new ones. Maybe the other people are still using the old blubs or the lowest wattage of the new ones.

If I wanted to know something I`d knock on the door and ask.
If they're like me they are still using the old type which you can still buy and they're coloured e.g. very very pale pink and a pale peachy colour which give out the nice warm glow...I'm not going over to the new ones until the last possible minute.. I have a stock of the old type in my cupboard...
