Would I have any problem taking in alcohol:-Whisky,Gin for own consumsion into the country either in my case or carried through in a duty free carrier.

You're allowed 1 litre of spirits, or 2 litres of ''alcoholic beverage'', whatever that means

No, you shouldn't have a problem either way. I've just checked with my hubby who works in a Duty Free shop.
