OOh -er my best advice would be to stain the rest of the garment curry colour!

Seriously, despite all the hype, I have never found most of the proprietary stain removers ever really work like the TV Adverts. You could try bleach, but again, there is often a residual mark.
I hate to disappoint you but I fear your garment is permanently damaged because most curry mixtures container turmeric - that bright yellow powder which stains permanently. If it's a very fresh stain you can try one of the Stain Devils which you can get in the houseware section of surkets or places like Robert Dyas, but even using that and soaking I fear you will not be totally successful. I've seen an advertised "Pink" stain remover but have never used it so don't know how effective it is. The safething thing to do when eating either curry or any tomato-based sauce is to wear a bib !
Would sewing a badge or motif over the stain help???
Well if its something that you can put in the washing machine ...Then a hot soapy wash with a good slosh of bleach will do it.. I get it all the time with 3 grandsons and that's what get the stains out - including curry...
Like katerich says, a little dob of bleach on the stain, leave for a while, wash out and then put in the washing machine. That is, if it is washable, cotton etc.
I use Milton sterlising stuff (Tesco, baby section). I use it on all my whites that have a stain, ALWAYS works.
if its something really worth saving, go to your local dry cleaners, show them and tell them what the stain is and ask can they get it out, if so then pay, if not try Shout stain remover in the plastic squeezy bottle [ the aerosol can is not as good]. What you should have done is try and get it out asapafter it happened, the longer u leave it the harder it becomes to remove.
