we are returning to the uk after 2 yrs of my other half working abroad. we would like to have an internet connection along with a telephone landline and maybe cable tv. what is the cheapest package these days. do you also have to have a telephone landline along with the internet? lots of people tend to have such good deals with mobile contracts and you can also use skype now for telephone calls. your help appreciated.

After doing some research - My daughter and her husband have the Virgin internet/cable tv/telephone package and are please with it...
it largely depends on where you move back to!

if it is a virgin cabled area then virgin is probably going to be your best bet for everything (telphone, TV and internet all in one package)

If it's not a virgin cable area then you will need a BT phone line (this can be moved onto another provider after BT have installed it) but generally the best deals are getting a all in one package from somebody like Sky (again TV, phone and internet all together)
