Redundant TV sets after Digital changeover

Is there any organistion/charity which will take and recycle/send overseas/break for parts etc TV sets which are in perfect working order but now useless in UK after the digital switch.
I'm reluctant just to get rid at the local household waste recycling plant (tip to you and me) if there's another life for them elsewher

Even if it doesn't have a scart socket, there are many Freeview boxes which have an RF modulator, so you would connect via the aerial - just like you would have connected a video recorder in "the good old days"
Other than old 415 line sets from the late 40s and early 50s I can't think of a single TV set that can't somehow be used to receive digital signals after DSO in your region.
If you really are that thick that you can't figure this out, then get them on Freegle (or Freecycle) where people will be only too happy to benefit from your technophobia!
