Fine hairline crack in basin

Is there anyway it can be re-paired as its new and dont want to fork out money for another one.

I'd say a new basin is the only option..... because the crack will only get bigger.
Have you got house insurance... it should be covered under Fixtures and fittings.

Before you claim on house insurance check what the excess payable is. It may be cheaper in the long run not to claim.
