get 3 quotes and you will then have an idea of costs for the work that you need and will know if that is a fair price.

costs vary hugely which is why you should just get a few quotes. I have been quoted double for boiler instalations before.

depends on the quality of boiler and the people fitting it, thats not much below what BGas would charge.
read the WHICH mag, september edition, last 3 years for a boiler report and then see what you think.
ask neighbours who they use/reccomend an d try to get some more quotes

Are you just having boiler & radiators replaced or whole system? If whole system cost will also depend on length/size of pipe needed.

Why have radiators replaced?

Get at least 3 quotes.

Get a breakdown of quote, e.g. cost of boiler (incl fitting), cost per radiator (incl fitting) and cost of pipework per metre (incl fitting). That way if any extra work is required then you have a price to work to.

If plumber is worth his reputation he should give above without question.

Yes that is. I had new combi bolier 3 months ago, new piping and 9 radiators and paid £5200. Love the combi boiler, never run out of hot water. And the showers are amazing.

depends on what make of boiler you opt for and if the gas supply needs upgrading but around the £3000 mark with a top quality boiler such as a vaillant or worcester would be around the right price.
