My microwave in my new kitchen opens up the wrong way to how I want it to. I need to turn the microwave another way but the plug lead is not quite long enough needs to be about 10cm longer. All extension leads I have found are a metre or more and would just get in the way. Apart from cutting these down does anyone know where I can get a small extension lead?
see if your neighbours will swap houses, they havnt been in long enough for it to matter and theirs is the mirror image of yours so microwave will be right then
ummm they are not quite big enough. Loftie I did move in first lot of snow, where night before we slept on flat floor looking out window at snow and thunder and lightening. Never thought remeval van would turn up but it did and the dofa did that night aswell. All went really smoothly thanks. I guess I;m going to just have to cut one down, doubt they do a small one as whats point
Make a new one. You can get all the bits from a good electrical shop....If you play the damsel in distress, or show a bit of cleavage they might do it for you:-)
You can easily extend the wire with an in line connector . You should, also if reasonably competent, be able to trace the wire back in to the case and simply fit a longer one.
Is this post a wind up? I cannot believe some of the answers.
1. Get an electrician to install a nother socket.
or
2. Cut the plug top off an existing extention lead, reduce the length of the cable as require and replace plug top with an appropriate fuse (5 amp)
