neighbour disputes
1 Answers
We are currently in the proccess of selling our property. We have been in dispute with our neighbours for approx 15years with regards to conifer trees in our garden which he did not like. After all the media coverage we agreed to have these removed and this has now taken place. Does anyone know if this problem will be insignificant, although we will disclose it, as it has now been solved. We still do not speak to our neighbours but have no other problems.

"Do you know of any disputes or anything which might lead to a dispute about this or any neighbouring property?"
"Have you received any complaints about anything you have, or have vot, done as owner?"
"Have you made any such complaints to any neighbour about what the neighbour has or has not done?"
You must answer these questions honestly, or you will be misrepresenting the situation to the buyer, and could face a claim.
If there was a dispute and it is now settled then it should not put off a buyer.
