Hi, I've come home today and noticed i've got a dripping leak on my Range Tribune Unvented water cylinder. I can see where it connects to a pipe but i'm wondering if it's an easy job to take off and would this then need a bit of plummer tape to sort it, there are two small screws at each side.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts, if you need any more info just let me know.
Cheers

Done some more research and the problem was a sox pocket behind the thermostate which holds the two elements which read the temp, i spoke to the manfact and they said it's a none problem on the earlier cylinders, the reason for the leak was due to the original part being copper, the new one is stainless steal. The part it's self cost £9 and got a plumber to fit it, the fitting isn't something a DIY person can do, as you need to fully drain the take, which was harder than i thought it was to do and nothing like i read, you can't just turn the cold water off at the mains and run the hot till it's empty that doesn't work. All in all it's now sorted,
