Hi

My parents recently had the bathroom decorated and the white walls, now seem to have dirty, greasy marks on them. My mum has tried to remove the marks with Cif, etc, but they won't budge. Can anyone help?

Thanks

One of the best dirtbusters I know was shown to me by my builder...........get a plastic spray bottle and fill with concentrated Cillit Bang.......wear gloves.....spray over the surface and leave for 20 minutes then wash off.
I was going to get new kitchen units until he cleaned them like this....came up like new.

....but will Cillit Bang damage plastered walls?
Good mix of Sugar Soap is what's needed.
It could be a problem underneath the paint. Try painting over with gloss paint then repainting with matt emulsion. This worked for me.
