im usually in chatterbank but im trying different sections.I tried the folk in the weather section yesterday and wasnt impressed so you home and garden folk tell me what makes your section sooooo great !!!!

Hello zzxxee - I like my home. And I like gardening - well, not weeding cos that's boring, but all the nice bits like planting, pruning and designing. The bane of my garden is cats poo'ing on my lawn.

You don't know me as well as I thought.... I would never ever have a cat. I abhor the smelly creepy stinking manky things. There is a big fat ginger tom who particularly likes my lawn - it has a Fatwa on it as far as I'm concerned.
I hope we get some joiner-inners today?

I don't discourage ladybirds, butterflies or bees. I had a toad last year near my clematis that kept hopping onto my bare feet when I was tending my borders - the screams must have been heard miles away. I don't mind them from a distance - just don't want the slimy things on my skin.

I lOVE cats millie is sat on my knee as I type what I would like from you gardeners is some advice as to starting an allotment I am going today to have a look at one with a view to starting it after a five year wait !!!!!!!!!!!
