An expert will come along but I think I've heard that there is no remedy for this, the seal has gone and needs a replacement window. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Prudie's right - the glass will have to be replaced. Is it outwith the guarantee period?
Double glazing will break down eventually - usually lasts for about 20 years.
a dehumidifier. i got one and it stopped condensation throughout the house. brilliant x
I think they mean in between the panes SK...
Prudie is an expert .. she is right.
The panel is shot. You need to replace them.
Glass cost to me for this is around £45-50 per sq metre made up.
I have the same problem, maybe im going to dry it out with hot hair-dryer, might work, but the condensation blocks all the light going into my kitchen, hate it. hope you get yours sorted Rhoda and let us know what you had done.
Aw thankyou JMR & AlBags I've come over all warm and worthwhile!

Double-glazing panels are bonded together and sealed.
Some are even filled with a special gas.
Once they are shot .. that's it .. you cannot fix.
Contamination by condensation stains the inside of the glass, too.
I have changed many. Old ones all go in the bin.
Sorry.
Dont contemplate any magic solutions ....as AlBags has previously said the seal that surrounds the glass unit has broken down and the only solution is to replace the unit.
A glazier would'nt dream of separating a glass unit and removing the old seal before trying to clean the glass and re-assemble.

Glass is so cheap ... and it is easier and more economical to make a new unit...
