I have two aerial sockets in my house, one downstairs and one upstairs. If I install a digital aerial and run a lead off the upstairs socket into a second bedroom, will the picture quality be as good as having a third socket installed into the second bedroom?

well logic would dictate that the existing aerial is wired from the roof to the upstairs bedroom, then down onto the downstairs one. Unless the upstairs one was put in later. Or even then maybe its the primary socket.

The question is a tricky one to answer. Youd need to know where the physical split is. My advice (for the easiest fix) would be to buy a 15 quid aerial signal booster from Argos.(cos they have a 14 day no quibble return policy) and try it without taking the wall apart. If that works then youre god to go. If not, youll have to start investigating where the split is and work from there onwards.
