I live in the Preston area, does anyone know where I could buy things like a brace and bit without travelling to far?

Look for a vintage tool dealer ... are you a collector ... or are you actually going to use it..?

I would imagine you could still buy a brace and bit in B&Q or a good hardware/shop they are still used today.

Thanks for your answers ,I do intend to use it, B&Q do not seem to sell them, I know I can buy them on line from sites like tooled up but just wondered if there was a shop locally. On line it is then

Dont' be put off by their website - it's not all fancy stuff! Give them a ring to see if they've got what you need.
