It is quite a complicated and exact process, and instead of writing reems in this answer and possibly confusing you, I suggest you look on the DIY advice section of the B&Q site (http://www2.diy.com) and click on doors. There is a step by step guide on how to hang doors with illustrations in there which you could print off. Good luck.
