ever had an imprinted concrete driveway?

Well there was the time that my dad laid a lovely concrete driveway and during the night the local sheep got out of their field...and left their little hoof imprints on it. He was not very impressed!

Old neighbours had one the coloured surfacing needed to be re done after about 5 years (Ithink Mrs Neighbour was too regular with the KArcher)but it was redone under the guarantee apparently so not a problem otherwise was ok can look a bit obvious if not well done but will never have a weed problem while it is intact.,

Nothing wrong with Pattern imprinted concrete. But makes sure you have seen the work of the firm who are going to do it.
a bad job looks awful and can not be rectified. other than rip it up and start again.

A local neighbour had theirs done 10yrs ago,still looks good and appears to be outlasting the mono-blocks which need weeding.I believe a Fife firm did it.

Dont particularly like it myself - always looks artificial and most firms will concrete over as much as possible with no 'style or design'. Having said that, it will keep weedfree and keep that 'new look' longer than block paving. Weeds will grow in block paving, but is more down to the owners laziness - a zap with weedkiller once a month is all thats needed.

I had one in my previous house and it was fab compared to the blocked drive we have now. I'm forever weeding it! Grrr...
