The flush of my toilet is not very strong and therefore is not flushing toilet paper away first time. I do use Andrex but can anybody tell me of maybe pretty good toilet paper for the bum but will easily flush away. Thanks. It really is a bum!!!

We were having a problem with this kind of thing. It's not the toilet roll it's the toilet. My hubby had to adjust the flush so it uses more water, thus getting rid of the toilet roll.

my plumber tried that - and more water (because of water economy!!!) will not come in. I am going to go for cheaper paper perhaps that will break down a bit more
We use Nicky brand (we got fed up with Andrex when it started getting very dusty when you tear it). I don't know if you can get it everywhere, here they sell it in Farm Foods and Netto, extra help in that it is only £2 for 9 rolls but is strong and "comfortable" to use. It flushes easily. (The worst one I tried was Andrex Aloe Vera, it was like trying to flish a bit of quilted bedspread!)

thanks boxtops - dont think we have that here in NI but I am sure there are plenty of duplicates.
The answer almost certainly lies with the toilet flush. Simply adjust the arm o allow more water into the system. Some people put a brick, or part of, to save water. If your system has a brick in the sytem just take it out.
And remove any rim blocks or cistern beach tablets the non ionic surfactants breaks up the paper so it is in small enough bits to float
"rim blocks" rowan???? the mind boggles
