I want to move my Christams Tree that I have in my garden to another spot as it is now beginning to overhang into my neighbour's garden and I don't want them to trim it. When would be the best time for me to move it?

But if you want to take the chance wait until autumn and take up as much soil around the roots as you can then water every other day even if it rains until winter sets in and then water once a week. Never let the soil get dry for a year. Good luck!
The question of sap rising or falling is not the main problem because conifers do not lose their leaves, but are badly affected by the cold dessicating winter winds. The safest month is March see this web site for full details. You will still need a lot of luck they don't like being moved and will need a lot of watering in the follwing year.
