I have the above lawnmower which has not got a detachable lead. As my OH has cut the lead by mowing over it, how can I replace it? TIA

If you go the route carlton23 is suggesting then it will need to be insulated/waterproofed! use of a Residual Current Ciruit Breaker is always recommended if you are in danger of severing a cable. If it's any consolation I have also hover-mowed the cable on my mower!
As Doc says, it really must be a waterproof connector.
An RCD in the garage where the thing runs from will do no harm but in virtually every case such garden tools are double-insulated and as such have no earth connection at all. Thus an RCD has no help when this sort of thing happens. As evidence of this, I have cut the lead on my hedge-trimmer not once but twice. On each occasion the overcurrent breaker (MCB) trips (because the leads have momentarily shorted together with a metal conductor) but the RCD does not trip at all.

Use 2-pin if fully insulated appliance (like a flymo is)
