You'll find it hard to beat good old-fashioned soda crystals (= 'washing soda', from Wilkinsons, traditional hardware stores and some DIY outlets):

I vote for sugar soap too...followed up with a wipe over with teak oil to re seal them

Wear rubber gloves if you use soda crystals, or sugar soap langara, they are a bit caustic, but will shift the grease.

Yep, I've just done mine and soda crystals did the job just fine.
Mind how you go tho, i forgot the cupboard door was open, went to climb on a chair and - - %&£**(@}%** I've got a lump the size of an egg.

There are so many cleaning agents on the market and advertised for cleaning, I cant believe you have asked this Q?

but trt half of them you buy because the advert says they remove all grease. and half the time non of them actually do, so its nice to get a bit of feedback on products.

trt - The best thing for cleaning windows is vinegar, I found that out from a post on here. I would never have found that by looking in a shop.

I've not tried it yet - got loads of stuff under my sink - but Stardrops gets very good reviews on moneysavingexpert.com.
