I have 2 new sofas being delivered on Monday. I have 2 old sofas that I need to get rid of, and quickly.

a local charity said they'd take them, but now they say they have too much furniture and can't take them. I've tried another charity, but they won't take them because the paper fire tags have come off. I've tried registering on Freecycle but haven't received the password they say they're sending.

I don't have room for 4 sofas in my living room! any ideas?

put them outside in the garden and cover them with a groundsheet until the charities can collect them - that's what my neighbours do - or just leave 'em on the pavement, they'll be gone by morning.

the charities wouldn't have them as the Fire Retardant tags have come off.
