How old is my fridge?

I was given a fridge/freezer pigeon pair about 18 months ago. I was wondering how old it is. It is a Fridgidaire with model no.FK270F and serial no. L148268. Help with this would be much appreciated as i need this info for an insurance claim. Thanks.

I have been trying to manouver around the frigidaire website but i can't seem to find any contact us details, all the phone numbers that i have on my use and care instruction booklets are disconnected. This website was my next option.

sam_inau - try this link http://www.frigidaire.co.uk/contact.htm you should find a plate/sticker somewhere on your fridge & freezer that will also give a serial number which they'll also need
