I am trying to recycle as much as I can. My local council will only allow me to leave plastic milk bottles and nothing else even if it has the same PP number. Please can someone tell me what the PP numbers represent so I can educate the moron at my local refuse tip - sorry Eco-Centre (their words not mine).
