We are very near to completing on our house move and the current owners said we can have the free standing gas cooker if we pay for it, we have decided we dont want it and they are going to get it removed, does it have to be removed by a corgi registered person and will they provide a certificate?

you only need a corgi fitter if the cooker is connected straight to the gas pipe. If it is on a bayonet fitting you can do it yourself. like taking a light bulb out.
