I am renovating a house and need to replace the gas central heating system and plumbing. How much should I expect to pay?

Your question lacks so much information that any reasonable "guesstimate" is impossible.  What size of house, what is your location, how many floors, what type of construction?  More questions than answers I'm afraid.

Without more information even a guess would be impossible. If you post more information I'm sure that you'll get a decent response but in the meantime why not look up the adverts in your local paper and get a few quotes?

As a very vague guess I'd think you were looking at �2000+ and more if you need materials like baths and basins etc.
