Dodgy plumbing?
3 Answers
I know that all the pipes were all frozen etc but I used the bath/shower at the end of last week and it took days for the water to go away to wherever it goes. I just left it and it went away.
Today I figured that as the temperatures are back above zero it would be back to normal. There is still about 6 inches of water in the bath after this mornings shower.
Could the drains just be overtaxed with the flood of water going into them with the thaw - or do I have a problem with my plumbing? I stick drain cleaning stuff down the drain on a regular basis.
I am still not brave enough to use the kitchen water supply and the washing machine -

We are getting the roof fixed in the next month or so (I hope as there is water seeping in a wall and dripping elsewhere - getting the others to agree to the work has been taxing) and there will be scaffolding up so they can at least have a look at it then
It really has been exceptionally cold for a few weeks.
One day last week I had to give the kitties bottled water - they were not impressed and Frankie started running after me crying his eyes out (drama queen/tom). I have now bottled water for them as a precaution.
Thanks for your help.
