Any suggestions re a 'smelly' stove which has a sour smell when left unused for a few days?

You could either:

  1. Place a sliced lemon and water in an oven proof dish on a low heat for an hour.  OR
  2. Place a little bicarbonate of soda on a saucer in the oven when not in use. Remember to remove it before cooking anything.
