Re my ? yesterday..........Wall mounting Hitachi television....

I got it wrong so i was told in no uncertain terms!! lol What my husband does not know is: there are 3 differnet length of screws in with the bracket and the instructions state you should refer to tv instructions to find out which length is suitable for your particular tv. I would have thought the longer ones as it is a 42 inch tv but he says he needs to be sure in case it could damage tv if they go in too far. Can anyone help with that please or tell me how to find out? tv came from argos so i am fairly confident they will not know the answer. Many thanks.

I didn't see your post yesterday, but don't the instructions tell you which one to use for their particular set?

no mention of wall mounting in the tv instructions and the bracket instructions say refer to tv instructions! Sorry previous post was thursday not yesterday.

I would do as Doc suggests. Also if things are new it is likely that you could put the screws into the holes with your fingers to check the depth.
