Do I need a plumber to disconnect my gas cooker which has the new bayonet fitting or can I do it myself, I mean is it legal for me to do it myself and can I just plug the new electric cooker in at the cooker socket as it's a fairly new property? Thanks in advance
Docspock it is a new house and it does have cooker curcuit installed, what does that mean for me? Re: Bayonet fitting doesn't the pipe need to be sealed or capped after the hose is disconnected?
I got it all done for £69, that is the gas cooker disconnected, pipe sealed and capped, the new cooker had to be hard wired into the little white box behind it, they also took away the old one. Thanks for all your help
