please recomend builders

we are looking for builders to do a two story extension to our house in north west manchester. can any body recomend reasonable, trustworthy and good builders to do the job as quickly as possible.

Ask friends, neighbours who they recommend. Look round area see if you can see any good work being done.  The local council may have a list of approved builders for their own work or grant-aided work.
Do not use anyone who calls on speck or does not have a land-line number. If anyone says they are members of any associations etc  check them out.  Sorry I'm not from your area so can not give you any names
