setting up email on Samsung GT-S7070

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me please. I am trying to set up my new phone so I can send and receive emails from it. I think I have entered all of the correct details (pop server smtp server etc). However when I try to send an email I keep getting a message saying 'define email profile'. Can anyone tell me what I need to do please?

You need to apply a software update for mail/wap.
Visit providers website and look for email/wap settings text update.
Apply to phone when arrives and reboot. Try again.

I just use Hotmail, no worries, works well, just access it through hotmail.com

Hi thank you both for your help.

The email I am using is the same as my home. I have now set it uo with my pop and smtp details which has got me a step closer but now when I try to send an email or download emails into my inbox it appears to be working at first then I get a 'connection failed' message. I have double checked the pop and smtp details and they are correct so i think I will now check the internet to see if there are any software updates. Other than that do you have any other suggestions?
