My husband said no, different fitting, mount

I agree with James's grandad. (Well,I assume that's what jamesnan's hubby is called!).

Different mount, designed to focus onto a 35mm film frame (instead of onto a much smaller CCD array, at a different distance from the lens to the film plane) and with no electrical focussing.
