Shaving A Corpse Before The Funeral.

Greetings each.
Silly question time:
As a former Registered Nurse, who has "laid out" loads of dead bodies ready for the Undertaker to collect, I know that hair will continue to grow for a short time after death thus necessitating a shave or two to the face.
My question is:
When this is done and the razor actually cuts or "nicks" the skin, how is this dealt with?
After all, the cut will never heal: Will it?
Answers on a postcard please.
Be good!
Cheers.

Electric shave
Superglue : )

Lovely subject.
Hair doesn't grow after death - the skin shrinks. Hide cuts with make-up.
what do you mean 'dealt with'? what difference does it make?
if any cuts they would be so small you wouldnt see them, as wouldnt bleed
At least they won;t bleed all over the place so there's no need for bits of toilet paper stuck to his face,

.
Oh!...........a bit morbid here!.............do we need to know?..........
"The first step in embalming is obviously to check that the individual is in fact deceased"

LMFAO.."Oi !!! What are you doing ? I was having asleep, what's that for ? ..OUCH! GERROFF!! "
hair does not continue to grow!

it may seem slightly that way when the skins moisture evaporates but it no growing.

a nick is exactly that, a nick and barely noticable, not a big gash...so bit of makeup should so the trick..
Well, it won't bleed either, will it, so it doesn't really matter.

Hey guys and gals:
I think we all had a good laugh with this one! <evil grin>
Sorry to disappoint some of you though:
Hair DOES continue to grow for a while after death. This due more to chemical activity than anything else.
That is why I asked the question.
Stay good!
Cheers.
I am glad i was not in the ward you were in, Click this link..........

You can lay me out any time, Squidgelet, but go easy on my nether regions. Don't want to meet Our Lord with faulty parts!
no, it doesn't...its is an urban myth, im afraid...do some research...
Of course it carries on growing ... that's why the undead are sooo hairy.
