If that is the case then there must be loads of people who cant get house insurance because of this clause ; simply because a particular insurer that they happened to go to FIRST cant provide cover because of close proximity of trees or a watercourse , for example - whereas if by luck they had happened to phone up a different insurer who didn' have an issue with trees / watercourse , then cover would have been provided .
So if you want to get your house covered and by sheer bad luck happen to approach a company who cant provide cover because of close proximity with trees / watercourse for example - what do you do ?
