Help with new camera

My new Olympus VR-310 camera will not maintain the English language. I have tried to change to English many times now and it keeps going back to Japanese/Chinese. After highlighting 'English', I am pressing the OK button, thinking I am saving the setting. Any advice appreciated, thanks.
