Using the services of a prostitute is not an offence. (Only 'kerb crawling' is).

Similarly the woman (or man, where appropriate) providing such services isn't directly committing an offence. Charging for sex is perfectly legal. However 'soliciting' and 'living off immoral earnings' aren't.

I believe they would be classified as Schedule D: self-employed. The trouble is the Inland Revenue can't take any money off them otherwise the government could be had up for living off immoral earnings.
