Lighter gas refill

how do they work as none of my gas lighters will refill without the stuff dripping onto my hands

do it an an angle. I can't refill clippers but can refikll cheaper brands

just put can upright and press lighter onto it

They're all proper lighters not disposables. I tried to read the instructions but the print is tooooooooooooo small

Various lighters have slightly different valves. You need to get a canister with adaptor that suits.

Its a Ronson cannister (3rd one) with lots of red adapters - I cant get any to refill. There must be a knack ?

get adaptr that fits, put can upright on a surface and press lighter down as hard as you can but do it in short bursts

Been trying, again with no luck. 5 gas lighters in bin with refill can & 3 disposables @ 50ea that jammed. Back to the petrol. AND to add insult, S.Fry has just voted the humble lighter best gadget, over a plane, ipad, iphone etc. Not a gas lighter imo !!

Lol, they always leak as plastic on plastic doesn't make a good air seal. Just hold the can with a cloth and try and get clear lighters so you can see when their full.

I remember the Calibri gas lighter refills that screwed into the base of their lighters. Never spilled a drop . Too expensive for what they were. Otherwise...
