Can you return a parcel to the sender (unopened) similar to what you can do with a letter assuming its via the Post Office?

If the parcel arrives via a courier can you refuse to accept it?

no, You can't just return it to sender once you've accepted it. all you can do is refuse delivery.

Dont know the post office rules but you should be able to refuse to accept any parcel, just tell the postie you dont want it.

What I'm worried about is because the parcel from the post office don't require a signature, in this instance, they could dump it in the porch while i'm out. Couriers nearly always want a signature or leave with a neighbour.

If they dump it in the porch and there is a return adress on it just write return to sender on it and give it back to the postie next time you see him/her
